A guy who would have made a great addition to any Asylum movie, Kevin McCarthy, best known as the star the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers and for his memorable turns for Joe Dante in Innerspace, The Howling and Piranha, as well as the 1978 Body Snatchers remake and Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go To College, passed today of natural causes. He was 96 years old.
